'Are You listening George?' A newly written play.
As part of my final third year dissertation project I decided to write, direct and act in a short 15 minute play about the struggles of boredom a 1950s housewife faces when hosting a dinner party for her husbands boss. The play is a comedy and invites the audience into Annie's daydream as she dreams about a love affair, reminisicent of all her favourite movies (Cassablanca, Gone with the Wind, Brief Encounter etc) with her boss.
The project earnt me a first class mark and I intend to develop it further in the future.
